It is a great piece of software, but really, Google mobile maps is way better. Have had both on my 8125 for quite some time and both have advantages over the other. Like the weather addition.

this is a cool app. but the gas prices only works for the first area Im in. when I moved around and selected gps as my position, it still showed only gas stations near my original area (and it wasnt even all of them)

OK, while I love this software -- used it side by side with Google till I gave up the latter -- why are they inundating us with this now? I thought this was some new version, went thru the whole process of installing it only to find out it's the same update I installed weeks ago. Can we have some version information in these submissions PLEASE?

This has to be the BEST APPLICATION EVER!!!!!! IT has EVERYTHING!!!!! gas prices, live traffic, movies, and what i really found helpful was the speak feature, it will recognize ANY voice. i said "seven eleven" and it showed all the seven elevens near by, including directrions AND phone number to them. This application is a MUST HAVE!!!!!

Looks real good and real useful. But only does US and UK. GoogleMaps is at least world wide. Even works in NZ. This one should too!

You don't need a GPS receiver at all, but it's great for turn by turn driving directions. Yes, the program is only designed for the US and UK, but I think some of the features work abroad as well. If you're interenational and something doesn't work--that's probably why. Awesome program though! I use it all the time. Voice recognition is amazing for when driving.

It's got a lot more features than the previous version but sadly unlike the previous version, it doesn't want to connect through my WiFi!!! I found this to be the case on the latest Google maps version also. That is a known problem and much discussed. I always think it's odd to release new versions that take steps backwards in important areas!

More useful than a chocolate teapot in the UK, but not much. No fuel prices, Nearest petrol station 30 miles away! No traffic info. Airports = airport taxies. Nearest port = in France (I am in Plymouth and we have a port TO France!)Cant zoom the maps. and cant set my location to USA to drool at their features. Come on Live Search, this is sloppy! Get your act together.

I did an update from my phone and now I have 2 versions, the old versio and the new one. There is no uninstallation icon in settings available to uninstall the original LiveSearch, which is what I tried to do originally. Now there's an uinstallation for the updated program but I have two instances of LiveSearch on my phone how do I get rid of the old one if there's no instance of it in "remove programs"??? Help!

According to my opinion, Live search present version works only for US.Much preferance is not given to other Places. I've been using Google maps from couple of months .Map locations are 80% accurate for India,where as in Live search it is only 30%.So many blunders in GPS. The only thing I liked in live search is voice recognization and Movies(only US).So, unless you r in US don't download this.

I installed the software on a Verizon XV6600 running Windows Mobile 2003. While most of the components installed correctly, and are very useful tools, the "gas prices" component did not install (there is no icon). Any suggestions on getting that to work on this phone?

I like the Collections. You can make your own custom pin collection as well as use others. I especially like the Wikipedia Nearby Entries! That is so awesome!

Unlike googlemaps, this is relatively new. It's pratically a beta. But eventually they will contract more countries. But as a "beta" it rocks! Especially the .NET technology making the app really rich with functionality. Maybe future versions will integrate with Office and OneNote as well as Outlook.

It's a free Microsoft application that you download. You can even make Collections with a free Windows Live Account. It will use internet data so you need a data plan that your cell phone company usually charges you for...unless you are using WiFi.

I live in the uk and don't seem to have the gas prices or travel icons? are they just for the American version? this is a great little program for finding local phone numbers of the place your visiting and checking out the weather.

The problem is I am "synced" but the files I downloaded will not go to my phone. The CAB files have been extracted for this program and a few others, my Tilt shows as available, but nothing. I have a Samsung Omnia i900 in the UK and the software installs fine and seems great, but I cant get the voice recognition to work. there is no 'speak' button, Anyone else having this problem? Tried to re-download from the wls.live.com site and it says this phone is not supported, could that be the reason? Can anyone see a way around this? Cheers
