The HTC Home Customizer v1.0 (HHC) is an application which lets you completely customize and backup/restore your HTC Home Plugin settings. The end result, is the screenshot on the right. Well actually that's one of the many results you can have with over 100 user-contributed appearance options to choose from.
HTC Home Customizer v1.0 Features:
* Customize the look of your plugin from 4 different appearance options.
* Save appearance settings to a custom Theme list.
* View and download extra appearances directly to your device through the app.
* Create a custom weather database to select cities from instead of the default list.
* Change all plugin options including tab ordering.
* Backup/restore of the HTC Home Plugin (contacts, launcher, weather and settings), HTC Home Customizer settings and theme files.

Forget upgrading rom to mobile 6. I have HTC 8125 mobile 5 and works perfect. when you combine with the pointui together... wow! it's amazing results... I had have upgraded my rom to mobile 6 before but somehow unable to receive a call when it sits for a while. I had to downgrade it back to mobile 5. Now i'm happy this application has arrived, almost the same idea with rom 6. I love it...

To Mariachi: The temperatures look frosty to you because you are looking at it in centigrade - not farenheit. You have to toggle the settings to get the °F reading.

This is an excellent piece of software. Made for WM6P, it operates well on my HTC Mogul. The basics are that it gives you the main screen that is displayed on the HTC Touch series. It also features thousands of potential combinations, to change the clock,to the weather icons, down to just about anything else you can think of. It is a decent size, and completely mobile friendly. 90/100

Excellent piece of software. Highly customizable. It gives my TyTn a much-deserved beautiful facelift. Only one bad point for me. You have to have HTC Home plugin installed before you can install this. It can't run on it's own. So, it kinda use up my memory. Keep up the great job!

Same as Silvio. My Phone is a wm6 HTC Touch Dual - after saving changes the phone freezes. After reboot I dont have the HTC clock or the custom one. Looks like a rebuild potentially.

This program is absolutely incredible! I downloaded it to my Mogul and it has completely changed the way I feel about my phone. I love this program! E-Z download and simple to operate. Lots of extras is you connect to the server to download the additional files. However, basic program comes with plenty to completely customize your phone.

Best home customizer yet. I use this on a WM6.1 Sprint Mogul HTC PPC-6800. It works beautifully, except for a possible tiny memory leak. But hey, the added finger friendliness and style gained is 1000x worth it. This is how WM6.1 should have been in the first place. Yet again, leave it to someone else to pick up the ball Microsoft dropped...LOL. But then again, as anyone with a Mogul knows, HTC sure ain't perfect either...sigh... But this and the plugin are everyday Apps for sure. If this will work on your phone, take the time to set it up how you like it. You WON'T be disappointed. Enjoy!

I have an Altel HTC PPC6800 running 6.1 (forgot I upgraded it and didn't check this was a 6.0 app) and I installed it, took 2 tries because I got some error the first time, then it installed I started customizing it and click ok or apply what ever and now it won't start up, it freezes at or after I put in my pass word. Also I followed a guide from another site to save my contacts file (pim.vol) and restore them on the device after I updated to 6.1, to do this I had to rename the the new empty file pim2 and then place the old one in an restart and it should pick them up, but could this cause the problem?

HuHAH! Ok for any one else with a similar problem you can try a Master Reset by, holding the left and right "soft" buttons (above the windows and ok keys) and pushing the reset button with the stylus (to the left of the usb port) Good Luck!

Go back and read all the feedback on the HTC Home original software. Again, probably great stuff, just don't get too excited if you have WM5.
